Hi Klaus,

I would appreciate the lspci -vvv output.

I have the ATI Radeon HD 3850 (Sapphire) 512M AGP Dual DVI-I/TVO card, Ubuntu 9.04, 3GB RAM and I don't see any mention of the above card details in dmesg or lspci -vvv. When I have aticonfig installed it returns with 'no supported devices found'.

I just got the card and wondering if it is defective. I would like to see Ubuntu has detected it in some fashion.....

Thanks,
Peter

For anyone curious about my environment (the relevant part):
. Intel Core2Quad Q6600 2.4Ghz
. 4GB RAM
. ATI Radeon HD 3870 (Sapphire)
. Fully-updated Ubuntu 9.04 amd64

I can provide more details (like lspci -vvv) if needed.
