It's simply strange having so many different results for essentially a well-controlled environment (or are there different LEAP 'dialects' that I'm not seeing here?)

I'm still using iPod touch firmware 2.x and still reliably connecting to my company's wireless network every time. DHCP is working, no need to re-enter the SSID each time etc.

I tried the steps and it works.

The only problem is that the SSID is not saved as a known access point. I have to enter it again everytime after a standby.

I just tried all the steps mentioned above and none of them worked for me. I'm really anxious and hope to be able to use my iPod at work so I can be productive and do not have to be at my desk to get work done.
If anyone find a way to log in please share it so we all can join in.

If I select WPA2 Enterprise. I can enter my username and password immediately, then I can bind with the network but I get a 169. type IP address and I am basically not connected to the internet

Thats a DHCP problem...Give yourself a static IP on your companies range.

Hm, so maybe there are differences between LEAP networks or different types of Access Points.

I have been trying everything and nothing worked. Here is where I am:

1. If try what Klaus indicates above, It will not let me join with at all with none in security
2. If I select WPA2 Enterprise. I can enter my username and password immediately, then I can bind with the network but I get a 169. type IP address and I am basically not connected to the internet
3. If I "forget this network" and then get in again then i am asked for Username and Password ... again and then same result as 2

So anyclue anyone might have would be welcom

Thanks

I got mine working by selecting other, specifying the SSID, then changing the security to WPA2 Enterprise, then was able to enter username/password

Hey everyone, I'll perform some tests in my company's wifi network as soon as I can. I'm just hoping it wasn't pure luck :-)

Connecting to a LEAP network has been the Holy Grail for me ever since I got my iPod Touch. The steps you give are the closest thing I've found yet.

However, this doesn't quite seem to work for me.

I'm able to big to a network identity with my company's SSID and no security setting just as you describe -- BUT when I try to join I'm prompted for a PASSWORD ONLY... no username. I can't join my company's network without putting in my username.

Any thoughts? (Sorry to bug you, but as I say, this is best hope I've seen)
